Meet the Artist
Jormilit Garcia is a rising jazz vocalist based in Kalamazoo, MI and a standout in Western Michigan University’s Jazz Studies program. A member of the acclaimed Jason Max Ferdinand Singers, she has performed at prestigious venues like Lincoln Center and The Kennedy Center, sharing the stage with artists such as Jacob Collier. Her Miami roots run deep—having sung backup for icons like Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Pedro Capó, and The Wailers. Locally, she lends her voice to Gold Company under the direction of Greg Jasperse. Jormilit’s performances are a radiant blend of heritage, emotion, and masterful musicianship.
